WHITEOUT is a four-track EP by World Champion Irish Dancer and singer-songwriter, Owen Luebbers. Inspired by over 20 years in the beautiful and brutal world of competitive Irish dancing, the project marks a reintroduction—a deeply personal reflection on dedication, isolation, and the fallout from an abusive power dynamic. WHITEOUT chronicles the blinding experience of committing yourself fully to a craft, the isolating nature of success, and the reckoning occurs when the stage lights go dark; when the applause fades away.

Written over the last three years, WHITEOUT serves as a diary of transition, capturing the tension between identity, ambition, and letting go. Raised on Kate Bush and Paul Simon, as well as Lady Gaga and MIKA, Owen blends introspective storytelling with a DIY pop sensibility, crafting songs that feel both intimate and cinematic, raw and soaring.

Based in Dublin, Owen has been training in Irish dance since the age of five, winning every major title in the sport, including the CLRG World Championships. He has been featured on America’s Got Talent and most recently in the BBC Northern Ireland documentary, The Year That Rocked Irish Dancing. As a performer, he has toured globally with Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
